Doelstelling / Mission:
Het Instituut voor CultuurEthiek (ICE) wil ethische analyses leveren ten dienste van cultuur en samenleving. Deze analyses betreffen actuele ontwikkelingen en problemen in (westerse) culturen en samenleving, zoals de opkomst van internet, verantwoord ondernemen en vraagstukken rond natuur en milieu. Het ICE voert deze analyses uit in cultuurhistorisch en cultuurfilosofisch perspectief, met aandacht voor normen en waarden, vanuit een christelijk-wijsgerig denkkader, en wetenschappelijk verantwoord. Resulterende publicaties zijn opvraagbaar.
The ICE offers ethical analysis of modern developments and issues in culture and society. From a Christian perspective philosophical explorations are published on a scientific level, focussing on ethics, cultural drives, structural norms and values involved in these societal trends or problems. Publications are available.
