A bachelor programme at a university requires three years of full-time study (180 credits) to complete while a bachelor programme offered by a university of applied sciences requires four years of full-time study (240 credits). Christelijke Hogeschool Ede is a Christian University of applied sciences, which means that we have a four-year curriculum.
Depending on the discipline, master programmes at universities, universities of applied sciences and Institutes for International Education will last one to two years (60 – 120 credits). Christelijke Hogeschool Ede currently offers a master programme in Contextual Care (Social Work) and is developing a master programme in Counselling. Both programmes are in Dutch and are known as hbo-master programmes (i.e. offered by a university of applied sciences).
